At age 15, in September 2008, she debuted under the stage name IU, a moniker meant to convey “you and I become one through music”. Thanks to her captivating voice and skillful lyricism, she quickly gained widespread popularity and has remained a beloved solo artist for over a decade. Since 2012, she has mounted annual large–scale concert tours in major cities across South Korea and around the world, establishing herself as a dynamic live performer.
